Psalm 91

" He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, If you make the Most High your dwelling--even the LORD, who is my refuge--PS 91:10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. We come to You in the mighty name of Jesus' lifting up each and every name listed below. Father, place your warring angels ahead and behind every military personnel that is serving over seas and in Iraq; and as we pray for each and ever- one who is listed below we put the Mark of Jesus upon them by pleading the Blood of Jesus upon each of them. May the enemy Satan see that mark and say, " Hands off" This is not our territory! May no weapon formed against them prosper`

When they go into skirmishes may they call on the One true God, Jehovah and wait on the Holy Spirit to say, "Wait until I cause the wind to blow through the tops of the trees, then you will know when to move!" And they will know as Joshua did, that the Lord is with them. Hallelujah!

We cry out to You, O Lord, Mighty in Battle, to equip them with wisdom and guidance and with each step they take O God, be their shield and buckler. We pray that the enemies leaders will become confused, disoriented and distrustful of each other; that their entire system of attack will fall apart, and somehow in YOUR wildest way, these enemies would become aware of YOUR deep love for them and the war Jesus has already fought for them, personally on the cross. Oh set the stage for defeat of all of those who intend to do harm; and when our men and women arrive on the scene, may they be surprised at how YOU has camp set up before they ever got there.

We proclaim that You will deliver them from the perilous pestilence and from the snare of the fowler; You shall cover them with Your feathers and under Your wings they shall take refuge

May this prayer be like as to "prayer missiles", and "cruise and scud missiles" and Patriot prayers to go ahead of our men and women as the Priest of old went before Israel.

I want to encourage-even exhort all to pray the following two Psalms daily or even several times a day.

Psalm 27 Of David.

The LORD is my light and my salvation--whom shall I fear?   The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?   When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD. Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, "Seek his face! "Your face, LORD, I will seek Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper, do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me. Teach me your way, O LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear,   he burns the shields with fire. "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.    Selah

Prayer of protection and Safety for our President and Military

I pray for our President and for the protection of his life and the lives his family. I pray that You would give him peace and clarity of mind as he stands in leadership and defense of liberty. Father, I pray that Your perfect will, be revealed to him as he is on his knees in prayer and that You would provide wise and godly counsel in his administration.

I pray that he will draw aside to fast and seek Your face before making a decision to go to war against Iraq or for that matter any decision concerning America. I pray that he will use godly character in his decision making and that he will perform Your will relating to world events.

Father, I pray that Your Church will be faithful to pray for our Nation and our leaders, may we begin our day in prayer and supplication towards You. Keep our minds alert and prayerful all day.

I pray for our service men and women over in the Persian Gulf, that you would have Your angel encamp around them, that You would be their hiding place and protect them and surround them with songs of deliverance. I pray that You would impart wisdom for You are the God who imparts wisdom generously when we call upon You.

I pray that You would give them peace in their hearts, clarity of mind, inner strength; health for their physical bodies, courage to stand in what they believe in. I pray that You would adjust their sleeping habit to conform to the new time area they are in and they will lie down in peace, as they realize that You are Lord of the sleep as well as the day. Make them to sleep in safety, my Father.

I pray that they will live in harmony with one another, be sympathetic, love as brothers and sister, and be compassionate and humble towards each other. May they cast all their anxieties upon You where it concerns their families back in the States, may they take Your yoke upon themselves and learn from You, that You are gentle and humble in heart, and they will find rest for their souls.

Lord, they are bound to be lonely for their families, I pray that their mail and even email get to them safely. Give them peace about their children, that they will know in their hearts that You will take care of their children and spouses.

I pray that You would give them discernment, protections from evil, traveling safety, and that they will resist temptation. Deliver them from their enemies and may they encourage all who are around them. I pray that they will call on the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in their time of need. Continue to direct their steps and give them patience while they are waiting for the decision to go to war. Let them not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time they will reap a harvest if they do not give up.

Father, may the angel of the Lord continue to encamp around those who fear You and may You deliver them. In Jesus name I pray. Amen and Amen

This, my friends, is what we need to remember.

*He is a real Star of the war and is representative of what America is trying to do. Please every body say a prayer for John and the little girl.

Got a tough, but heartwarming story and a picture of John Gebhardt ( US Navy) in Iraq. Anyway, his wife Mindy related that this little girl's entire family was executed. They intended to execute her also and shot her in the head but they failed to kill her. She was cared for by John's hospital and healing up, but has been crying and moaning. The nurses said John is the only one she seems to calm down with, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both sleep in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing. John comes home in early October.
