The Lord will go forth like a warrior; He will
arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise
a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies. Isaiah 42:13
Let’s
let the Light of Jesus shine through us today as we pray and care!
Father, we pray for the safety and security of everyone
involved in the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece,
especially the law enforcement and security specialist from Greece and
around the world who will be working to keep the games safe.
Father, I
pray for Porter Goss, the newly appointed Director of CIA. I pray for his
confirmation hearings before the Senate and I pray that You will guide him
and grant him wisdom and insight.
Father, I also pray for those working to safeguard the city
of New York thorough-out the preparation for the Republican National
Convention. I lift up Director
Tom Ridge and the Department of
Homeland Security as they respond to serious threats against the financial
services sector in New York, Northern New Jersey, and Washington, DC. I
declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, I pray for President Bush and his team as they face
an enemy that is sophisticated, patiently disciplined and lethal; words from
the 9/11 Commission Report. I pray that Your wisdom which is above all
powers and principalities will overrule the most cunning plans of America’s
enemies. We proclaim Isaiah 42:13 –that “…the Lord will go forth like a
warrior for
America and that Your zeal will arise like a
man of war, that You will utter a shout, yes, You will raise a war cry
against our enemies and You will prevail!”
I pray You
would grant President Bush with Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I
pray You would surround him with Godly counsel and God-fearing righteous
advisors and that He will come before You on his knees in prayer by
recognizing his own inadequacies and pray and seek Your will where it
concerns himself and this Nation, and that he realizes that he will be held
accountable to You for each decision and act he makes concerning this Nation
and the Nation of Israel.
I pray he
will continue to endeavor to restore the sanity of life, families, divine
order and morality in our Nation. I pray he will work to reverse the trends
of humanism, socialism and satism in our nation.
I pray
that the leaders of this Nation will desire humility and meekness and be
willing to serve and cooperate and that they will be prepared to give
account to an Almighty God one day.
Father, I
come against and bind the political spirit that is dividing our Country. I
declare that spirit of division be sent to the dry places and take any other
spirits that have been assigned to this Nation with them and not return. I
bind the Prince Spirit over America and any other Prince Spirit that has
been assigned to this Nation. On the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, I
bind you and send you to the pit along with any other principalities and
powers of this world to go with them.
I call forth the Ministering Warriors of heaven to ascend to
this Nation to do battle and to restore righteousness to this land. I
declare healing and restoration and revival to this Nation. I declare and
call forth the righteous and Godly men and women to rule and lead this
Nation. I declare that the ungodly shall be dethroned of their power and the
righteous to abound. I declare peace, healing and family morals to be
restored to this Nation.
The Church
and I bind the spirit of homosexuality in this Nation, we send you to the
pit! We call forth Godly marriages to be assigned to this Nation.
I declare the Church to come out of her complacency and not
be satisfied of being the Loadicean
Church. We call forth a mighty revival in our Churches and
in this Nation. I say and declare on the authority given to me and to the
Church, Revival Come Forth!

Father, in the name of
Jesus, I pray that You prevent the destructive forces of terrorism directed
against our nation. Provide protection from evil attacks and stop the
aggressors attempts to bring destruction to our nation and people. May Your
hand of protection keep us safe. Provide strength, courage and wisdom
to the protectors of this nation to administer their duties. Give wisdom and
insight to our government and everyone involved in the elimination of
terrorism. Provide instruction in the development of effective and efficient
anti-terrorist strategies that will give us an advantage against our
aggressors allowing the country to remain safe and secure.
I pray we would begin to unify under the
blood-stained banner of the Cross and preach the gospel of the kingdom
clearly and boldly in every highway and by-way of our nation. I pray that we
will not only stand up and speak up but that we will begin to reap a great
harvest in our nation, bringing multitudes to the saving knowledge of Jesus
Christ.
May revival of the saints be so
all-compassing that it affects the spiritual complexion of our entire nation
and influence our politics, our economy and our media and our entire
society.
I pray for the leaders of the world
powers, especially those who oppose Your gospel. May they feel Your power
and Your Presence and that will be cause to show the difference to the Body
of Christ to His Name's honor and glory.
I pray for the body of Christ in
the USA, that we may be convicted of the need for repentance and a desire
for holy living, and a closer walk with our Heavenly Father. I pray
that the citizenry of the U.S. may not respond with just patriotism, but
with a desire to know You on a personal level.
Father, I pray that
President Bush will come to realize that in order for our country to be
blessed, we must support Jerusalem -and that he will not give into pressures
to give Israel's God ordained land away. Just give him clear direction and
guidance as he works for peace in the Middle East. I pray, You would give
his advisors Godly wisdom as they also work with both Israeli and
Palestinian officials.
Father we continue to
pray for the safety of our military men and women serving in Iraq for peace.
We continue
to pray for the families of those soldier who so valiantly gave their
lives for freedom. Father, hold these families close to Your bosom and
comfort them in their grief.
I
pray for the military Chaplains, that many of our men and women will come to
the true knowledge and give their hearts to Jesus through their experiences.
I continue to pray for the families of the injured or killed in action.
Father, we pray that You would move in our land to bring
about a revival of hearts and freedom from the tyranny of evil and turn
hearts back to You. We pray for a mighty revival in our land. We pray
that You would move mightily during Bible study that the White House
Staff has on a weekly basis; fill them all with Thy Holy Spirit and
give them wisdom and guidance.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem-and for the situation
in and around Israel. We pray that a breakthrough will come, bringing a
calming to the region.
