Children, God is calling
–We are on Mount Sinai today -God is calling you into a
personal intimacy with Him -Are you ready? If we dare
answer His call then be prepared to redefine everything you
have ever done. Your decision today will determine whether you
go forward or backward in your walk with Christ.
Inti macy
with Christ requires a certain level of brokenness because
purity comes from brokenness. The games are over friend, God
is calling you.
Do we
dare let Him look into our hearts? What will He find there?
We, as a church family, have to deal with our inward as well
as our outward actions– We must come clean before
the Lord if we want revival. God cannot reveal Himself to a
partial church; we would be destroyed in an instant.
God is
calling people who want serious revival, true repentance. Its
you He's after–He wants You to draw near; but at the same
time, if we let Him come near, then He will have to deal with
us about our sins. We must die. We must pass by the altar of
forgiveness and sacrifice on our way into the Holy of Holies.
It's time to lay our egos on the cross, to crucify our will,
to lay our agendas aside-forget all the plans you've made for
yourself and lay on His altar and die to self and the world.
Ask Him
today, "Lord what do you want me to do?" Its time to lay
everything aside and apply the blood and enter through the
veil of repentance. You must die to self. You must make
restitution first, then go to the altar to enter into His
presence.
Do you
really want the presence of the Lord to come? Are we willing
to pay the cost? We will have to learn to
properly reverence, handle and steward the holiness of God.
Do you
realize that God may actually look elsewhere if we do not come
back to Him, to a relationship with Him, and not just His
"stuff"? We need to come before Him in awe, and respect Him in
all His glory and power.
God will
only birth things to a people that make room for the
miraculous by faith. Our soul purpose should be to praise His
name and seek His lovely face. How do we go about doing that?
Forget
schedules, time and self-agendas. Come into His presence with
psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs and with thanksgiving in
our heart lifting up Christ Jesus. Do not be ashamed of
raising our hands, or dancing before Him, do not be ashamed of
tears of repentance--just open your mouth and praise Him,
climb up in the Father's lap and bask in His love. Put your
hand in His nail-scarred hand and walk with Him in His garden
of love, mercy and grace. Smell His sweet fragrance; relax in
His loving embrace. Forget your pain, your anxieties, your
worries, just say, "Lord, here I am, Your child who needs Your
love today, rock me Lord, sing to me a sweet love song. I'm
following You, Lord, wherever You lead me, I'm following. I
surrender my all to You right now. I seek Your face, Lord,
sing to me "Child, how I love you!" Come near to me Father as
I draw near to You. Let me proclaim, "It's Him!" as You
manifest Your presence and glory.
