Father, we have sinned with our fathers, we have committed
iniquities, we have done wickedly – we have not fully appreciated Your wonders
preformed in this Nation, we have turned our back on You. We have acted
wickedly, the blood of our aborted babies cry out to be revenged. We have turned
from Your commandments, taking God out of our pledge of allegiance; we’ve taken
prayer and the Ten Commandments from our schools and public places. We no
longer listen to Your prophets -righteousness belongs to You, O Lord, but to us
open shame, because of our unfaith deeds which we have committed against You.
Too quickly we have forgotten innumerable mercies; we have
rebelled –we have forgotten Your miracles; we do not wait for Your guidance –we
lust after worldly things and we test You. O God, forgive this Nation and Your
Church, forgive our idolatry. We have exchanged the glory of God for the
likeness of an ox or man made idols.
Forgive our sins of ingratitude’s, forgetfulness, self-will,
criticizing Your leadership -we no longer believe Your promises in Your Word.
Forgive our sins of immorality -the worship of the Baal of Peor involved in
worship sins. Forgive us from straying from You, O God walking in disobedience
of Your Word.
O Lord, forgive I pray -I cry out for forgiveness -asking You
to wash us and thoroughly cleanse us in the blood of Jesus.
O that Thou wouldst rend the heavens and come down, that the
mountains might quake at Thy Presence, O God. Pour out water on this thirsty
land and make streams on the dry ground. Pour out Your Spirit of revival upon
Your of-springs and Your blessings of revival to Your Church. Manifest Your
Presence O God -We need Your presence today more than anything in this life.
Lord we seek Your ways and cry out to You to reveal Your
thoughts, so we may discover Your mercy by sending revival to Your Church. O
God, I cry out for mercy and grace, purge us of our sins and then refine us so
we may qualify to be in Your Presence.
O God, I stand in the gap for Your Church –May we return to
You in righteousness and repentance; forgive us O God and send a mighty revival.
Deal with our strongholds so we can deal with the stronghold on our Church,
cities and Nation. May Your Church dwell on a higher plain of authority before
You and may we encounter a greater level of intimacy with You, O God. You are
our “Faithful Witness” and Your Spirit in us will also bear witness of Your
righteousness.
O Lord God, forgive I pray; O that Your Church may stand in
the gap praying for repentance, restoration and revival in this land and Your
Church. O God let Your Church once again peer into Your heart to obtain
understanding of Your nature and character.
Lord, I’m asking for the anointing of Phinehas, for my Church
–providing inspired revelation of Your Word to the people of this Rio Grande
Valley. Show us great and mighty things unlike anything we do not presently
know. May my Church embody a heavenly “jealously” and integrity by rightly
dividing the Word of Truth without mixture or compromise. May this
anointing produce a healthy ardor and zeal for Your Spirit of Truth.
May we rebuke the spirit of compromise that facilitates the
substitution of the Holy Spirit and with the spirit of this world. May the
“Phinehas” anointing usher in the Fear of the Lord back into our Church and
pave the way for divinely granted repentance that leads to the knowledge of the
Truth. May this produce a more righteous body with whom You can become intimate
and then share Your mysteries and power.
Again, O God, I pray that You would rend the heavens! That
You would come down and visit Your Church! That the mountains might shake at
Your presence—as fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—to make Your
name known to Your adversaries, that the Nations may tremble at Your presence!
Begin Your shaking, O God, send Your messengers and let them prepare the way for
Your revival fires.
Come into Your temple O God, and refine Your Church with Your
refiner’s fire - Purify Your Church.
Purge us as gold and silver. So come, Lord Jesus and revive
us again. Come in all Your glory with Your ministering angels. We want revival-O
God!
Yes, Lord we are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked
before You. I stand in the gap O God, asking for Your mercy and grace. I want to
buy from You, gold from heaven, that’s been refined in the fires of revival.
We are desperate for You, O God, let us hear the sounds of
You knocking on the door once again to dine, rule and reign with You. We submit
to Your pruning and striping so we may turn our eyes and affection for every
temporal things and begin to seek Your face and Your righteousness.
We seek Your face O God, we cry out for forgiveness and for
revival.
