Abba Father, we pray that when the devil roars against us, that You will give
us boldness to roar back as Your witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with even
greater intensity!
Father, we pray that You would help use to understand life’s facts in the
context of Your eternal purposes. We seek to have Your understanding and to know
what things mean from Your perspective so when we are faced with puzzling
situations or difficult problems, You would revel to us not only the immediate
solution, but also the truth of the matter. We also ask You why You have allowed
this particular thing to happen and help us to understand what is Your hope for
us to accomplish, as a result of this trial-not only in my life Lord, but in the
lives of all others involved directly or indirectly. Impart wisdom so we may
know how to respond to this particular circumstance, Lord. Help us to make sound
decisions, rational choices and well founded plans.
