      Grace and Peace

God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I give You praise and glory!

I thank You, Father for Your grace, as it provides enablement for every thing within Your will and Your peace give serenity in every kind of circumstance. Thank you Father, that faith puts me in contact with the eternal spring of love in Yourself. And the necessary consequence is that our hearts are drawn out in love to all who belong to You.

I thank You Father that You allow your saints to go through persecutions and tribulations in order to develop in us the moral excellencies which make us “worthy citizens” of Your kingdom. “…. Which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God…” 2 The. 1:5

Father, I pray that I will be worthy of Your calling, and that Your mighty power will enable me to obey every impulse to do good, and to accomplish every task undertaken in faith.  I pray that I will accurately represent my Lord Jesus to this world and thus bring glory to His name. Then I too will be glorified in Him, that my association with my Lord, my Head, will bring honor to members of His Body. And I can do all according to the grace of My God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your Word says to trust You for future courage and strength. You love us and, You give us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace. Your greatest exhibition of love to us was the gift of Your Son. Hallelujah! I thank You for Your Son, my Lord Jesus because I know that He settled the sin question at Calvary. We (I) have eternal comfort now and the hope of a glorious future---and it is all through His marvelous grace. Thank You, Jesus!

Father, I pray that You comfort the hearts of my Church family and establish them in every good word and work. Not just encouragement in the midst of distress; but strengthen them to move forward in battle. May our lives be in order of teaching and doing, doctrine and duty, preaching and practice, and  that truth be upon our lips. I pray we as the body of Christ stand behind our pastor and pray for the dissemination of his message; for the triumph of his message; for the preservation of his message; and may the word of the Lord run swiftly through his message.

I thank You Father, that You are faithful. Faithful to confirm us to the end; You are faithful to deliver us out of temptation; You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Hallelujah!  And, You are faithful to establish and to guard us from the evil one. “Kept by the power of God through faith….”

1 Peter 1:5

Father, my prayer is that I will love others as You loved us and that I will be steadfast as Christ is steadfast.

I thank You for peace, for the world can not give it or take it away. We must appropriate it in all the circumstances of life, peace is not a cessation from persecution, but the calm of heart that comes from faith in You, and is independent of circumstance.

I thank You for the Comforter…. the Holy Spirit. I thank You that the Holy Spirit helps me in my daily problems and in my prayers, for when I don’t know how or what to pray, You, Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words. And You, Father knows our hearts, knows what the Spirit is saying as He pleads for us in harmony of Your will. Hallelujah!

Because You Lord are my Shepherd, I have everything I need. You let me rest in the meadow grass and You lead me beside the quiet streams. You restore my failing health. You help me to do what honors You the best. Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding and guiding all the way.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. The One who was, and is; and is to come. Who lives forever and ever. The blessed and only Almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. I give You Glory and honor for ever and ever. You are the King of the ages, the unseen One who never dies, You alone are God, and full of wisdom. Amen

Commitment To The
 Person Jesus Christ

Abba Father,

I made a decision to receive the Lord Jesus at an early age, because I wanted to enter heaven. I desired Your forgiveness and I received it. I wanted Your pardon and Your approval. I yearned for assurance and I accepted it; but Father I did not make a commitment to the Person, Jesus Christ. A few years ago Lord, I rededicated my life to You and at that time I made a commitment to my Lord Jesus and what a change You have wrought into my life. You have been teaching, guiding, molding and making me into the image of my Lord Jesus. Praise Your Holy Name!

Abba Father, as I continue to surrender spirit, soul and body unto the authority of my Lord Jesus and the indwelling Holy Spirit, I pray that You help me to abandon self, self-pride, self-love and self-ambition and to place myself completely at Your disposal to do Your will, not my will. Father, I pray You help me walk through the process of completely surrendering my will to You. I surrender all Lord Jesus without hesitation, without reservation and without bargaining with You. Your word says, “As we make a deeper commitment to You, You will bring us into deeper levels of commitment each day. You will teach us something new each day.”

Lord You have blessed me, equipped me and gifted me. I have good health, material possessions, sunshine, and a free country to live in. I can travel anywhere I please and I am luxuriating in Your blessings. I give You all praise, honor and glory for Your blessing upon me. You Lord are so good, so gracious, so kind, so long-suffering and I know I do not deserve any of Your blessings.

Abba Father, I pray that You will help me reach the maximum of my potential in obeying Your will in my life. Father, I do not want to be “out of pocket” with You. I want to get it together and do Your will in everything in my life. I want Your best for me, Lord. Lord, whatever You want, whenever You want it, however You want it, I am available. Here I am.

Abba Father, Your blessing upon me and my household outweighs any burden, heartaches or valleys I’ve encountered. You have blessed me with Christian friends, my Church, people who encourage me and nurture me. You Lord, have sustained me through thick and thin, keeping me by Your power. You have never deserted me, never failed me and never let me down. My cup has literally ran over and I cannot possibly begin to describe all You have done for me and mine.

Father, I want You to use me where You will, hidden, unknown, unappreciated, unheralded, and unhanded if necessary in order to do what You will in my life. I just want to be used Lord. Father, give me a hungering, thirsting, yearning desire to know how You can use me in this point of my life.

I call on You, Jehovah, Yahweh, Elohim, El-Shaddi, the God of glory to reveal to me what You have been training me for; what can You do with me. I yield to You totally withholding nothing from You. I give myself to You without reservation. Lord God, I am committed to obeying You, regardless of the circumstances.

Lord, I humble myself before You, reaffirming my obedience to You whatever the cost may be. I open my hands, gripping nothing, stripping myself of everything of the world that may attach itself to me, and everything to which I am attached, in order that I may be totally free--that Your power may flow through me God, that I may walk upright and  obedient before You. This is my commitment and my prayer in Jesus magnificent Name!    Amen

Commitment to Jesus Christ

Abba Father, I pray that I will be useful in Your hands, and ask you to enable me to understand what is taking place in my life and in the lives of others. Father, I want to be a partaker of Christ’s suffering. I want to be prepared for You to stamp out my personal ambitions in order to serve You. Father; destroy my individual decisions by supernaturally transforming them.

Father, I want a closer personal intimacy with My Lord Jesus. Continue to attract and draw me into His intimate possession.  “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ…” (John 11:27) Father, Your word says, “to believe is to commit.” In the area of intellectual learning I commit myself mentally, and reject anything not related to that belief. In the realm of personal belief I commit myself morally to my convictions and refuse to compromise. But in intimate personal belief I commit myself spiritually to Jesus Christ.  And make a determination to be dominated by Him alone. Hallelujah!

Father Your Word says, “ Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it for death or life.” Proverbs 18:21. I pray my tongue will bring forth life not death.

What awesome power-like fire or electricity or nuclear energy right under my nose, one that produces life or death, depending on how I utilize it. Father, I pray that I will use my tongue for good, not evil, for great benefit, not harm, that I will speak life and health, not death and destruction.

Father like a soaring eagle I will take a stand, keep my word, honor and commit to live a holy life before You. Sometimes Father its hard to maintain control of my mouth to be positive, to praise and glorify You when those around me seem to be giving in to griping and complaining and every other kind of negativism, but, I know I can do all things through Your strength. You have given me the tongue of a disciple and one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season and out of season. I am learning to find my joy in You alone, for my joy isn’t found in my circumstance but is found in You.

Father, Your Word says, gossip, judging, criticism and faultfinding is disgusting to You, that it disturbs You, that with the same mouth we use to bless and praise You, we curse and condemn our fellow man, made in Your image. O Father forgive me for all the times I’ve done that, put a bridle on my tongue.

I thank You Lord that You look upon my heart and count me perfect all the while I am on my way too becoming perfect.  O Lord keep my spirit from becoming poisoned by listening to gossip.

Father help be to become a “Sweetheart” to my husband. Help me to always be sweet, kind, nice and encouraging to him. I thank You for my husband, Lord who loves me as You loved the church.

Father, I thank You for Your word in Proverbs 18:4 “The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?” I thank You for the strong Spirit within me to help me in those times of trouble. I pray that I will utilize my strong Spirit by helping those who are weak in spirit, lifting them up in intercessory prayer, encouraging, and strengthening others by my very presence and personality through the love of Jesus in me.

I thank You Lord that when I get discouraged and down in the dumps I can always turn to You to find strength to carry me forward. Hallelujah! I thank You for the healing balm of Gilead that begins to drip down into my wounds healing me. Thank you Holy Spirit, my Comforter for coming alongside to comfort, encourage and urge me to press on and to propel me forward.

Father I pray that I will be quick to hear, but slow to speak, slow to take offense, and slow to get angry. Help me O God to take a deep breath, shut my mouth for a minute, and get control of myself when someone doesn’t do things my way. Father, crucify the impatience in me, and help me to accept what I cannot change with joy.

God speaks: Child My kingdom is not a matter of getting the food and drink one likes, but instead it is righteousness, that state which makes you acceptable to Me and a heart with peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Serve Me in the way that is acceptable and pleasing to Me and is approved by the Father.  So definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual up-building, edification and development of one another.  “Let us therefore follow after the things which can make for peace and things wherewith one may edify another.”

Child, clothe yourself in My armor and walk in peace. Strife grieves My Holy Spirit. When peace leaves the Holy Spirit leaves and He is the One Who does the real work. If you want to be My ambassador your must be more like Me. You need to hunger and thirst after peace because it is in that area in which the evil one is stealing from you.

Child, open your mouth with skillful and godly Wisdom and your tongue will be the law of kindness, giving counsel and instruction.

Child, no matter how right your heart may be before Me, if you have pride or anger or resentment in your spirit, you cannot open your mouth without expressing those negative traits and emotions. Keep the hardness out of your mouth, put in the law of kindness and gentleness, Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest and ease and refreshment and blessed quiet for your soul.  My yoke is wholesome, useful and good-not harsh, hard, sharp or pressing, but, comfortable, gracious and pleasant and My burden is light and easy to bear. Submit to Me and My Holy Spirit will take command of your tongue and bring it into submission to His will and Mine.

Child, the harvest of righteousness of conformity to My will in thought and deed is sown in peace. When you work for and make peace in yourself and in others, then that peace which means concord, agreement and harmony between you and others, will then set their mind free from fear and agitating passions, and moral conflicts.

Child, in order for My word to take root, it must be sown in a ground of peace. So if you plan to work for Me, you need to get the strife out of your life. You have the power to choose how you will react or respond to outward situations and circumstances. Choose to act upon it rather than to re-act to the circumstance. I have created you with a free will and with the ability and freedom to make your own decisions in life, choose you this day whom you will serve.

Child, let no foul or polluting language, no evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth; but only such speech as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace, My favor to those who hear it.

Child, depression of the human spirit is another problem created and magnified by wrong thoughts and words-your own and those of others. Do not use your mouth to hurt, break down, or depress, but rather to heal, restore, and uplift.

Because you are a child of mine, I want you to magnify the good in life, in others and in yourself. Make Me larger than all your problems by magnifying My Name to all those around you. Child this does not mean I want you to ignore problems and never deal with them, I just mean for you to keep them in perspective. I am listening to see how you handle yourself in all situations you encounter in this life.

Child, I have given you this message so you will choose your mouth not to speak evil but to speak good. To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven… a time to keep silent and a time to speak. Call upon My Wisdom to know when to speak and when not to. But as a general rule, it always timely to exhort and encourage others.

Press onward child toward the goals I have set for you. Focus your attention on how far you still have to go rather that how far you have come. Focus on your strengths and not on your weaknesses, your victories, not on your problems. Magnify My works not the works of Satan. Child exhort, encourage and edify always, urge others to keep being all they can be in Me and encourage them to keep straining forward toward the prize.

Be positive in your thoughts, in your attitude, in your outlook, in your words,  and in your actions.

Child, if you do whatever I tell you to do and cooperate with My Holy Spirit and follow His leadership and guidance you will move from darkness to light, from negativism to positivism, from death to life.

You are my priest because I have formed you into My kingdom a royal race, to My God and Father—to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages forever and ever. Amen and so be it. Shalom my child until we come together again in prayer.
