Abiding  in Your Presence

Abba Father, we greatly rejoice in the Lord; our souls shall be joyful in our God; for You have clothed us with the garment of salvation, You have covered us with the robes of righteousness; as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Oh that You would greatly bless this class of extra-ordinary women and its leadership.  Just bless them and enlarge their opportunities to serve You. Just come live Your life in and through them to do as You please. Bless them so that they may be a blessing to others. Keep Your hand upon them and fill them with Your Spirit. Use them to bring honor and glory to Your name. Your word in Ezekiel 34:26 says, “I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessings.”

O God, just open for us the windows of heaven and pour out for us a blessing that we cannot contain, until it overflows. Not just any blessing Lord, but a God-sized blessing according to Your desires, Your goals, Your eternal purposes. Let us become a miracle before a watching world. May our neighbors be stopped in their tracks when they see You at work in our lives, accomplishing Your eternal purpose.

Father, as You send Your God-sized opportunities our way, we cannot accomplish them without You. We must first humble ourselves. We must weed out pride and selfishness. We are inadequate - the job will be too big for us alone, so please step in and do it through us as Your willing vessels. Your word says, “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  ‘Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Draw us closer to Yourself so we may receive the resources and power needed to do what you are bidding us to do.   Lord, just invite us to join You in what You are doing  - help us to walk out in faith and trust You. You are the Lord God who brought us out of our wilderness. We are thirsty and hungry, open our mouths so You may fill them with Your words of abundant mercy and grace.

Increase our faith Lord, as we make ourselves available to all Your availability. Work Your perfect will through us. You word says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to You.”  O God, (I) we can do all things through Jesus who strengthens us, as You supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. You said, “Ask, and it will be given to You, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.”

We have confidence, Lord that You do hear and answer our prayers. Lord, bless us with a hunger for righteousness that will make us tremble at the approach and even at the thought of sinning. Lord we yield to the Sovereign overruling of Your Spirit as He gives us the ability, and the grace and power to obey You. May He also give us discernment to understand Your leading.

Lord, as the Heavenly Vinedresser, I ask that You would prune us of self-interest and use our energies to become focused on the Lord Jesus Christ so we can become more and more like Him. Show us O God, what You want us to let go of and give us the strength to deal with it. Your word says, ‘Apart from Me, you can do nothing.’ So as Your Holy Spirit seeks partnership with us, may we depend on His resources, for they are inexhaustible and His power is invincible. O Holy Spirit we give You consent to work in us so our weakness becomes strengthened in Your presence.

Lord, we exchange our inadequacies for Your adequacy. We will focus our faith on You, who is adequate for all occasions. When we seek our dependency upon You, it’s then we draw inner strength from Your indwelling presence.  Lord we need Your hand upon us here today. We need Your presence and power. We want to be filled with Your Spirit, guided by Your Spirit and taught by Your Spirit and empowered by Your Spirit. May the Holy Spirit illuminate us from this day forward. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon us, O God. We need His fullness and His power to overcome any obstacles Satan throws at us this morning and every day.

Lord we are expecting great things from You today! You said, You want to fill ordinary people with Your extraordinary power. We will allow You to keep Your hand upon us - we give You permission to do what appears impossible to unbelieving man to be possible by the working of the Holy Spirit.  Release Your power to work in and through us today and everyday so we can proclaim that “God did it!”  & “I saw God do it!” What was impossible for us to do, You will do it through us! You alone will get all the credit and glory.

Lord we choose to follow You into a greater experience with Your intimate presence as we invite You to take over this class full of extraordinary women who are ready and willing to serve You. Release Your life through us so that You will receive all the glory. We want to become dependant on Your strong hand. As we surrender our needs into Your unlimited opportunity You will then become great though us.

Lord with simple faith and trust in Christ, we humbly hand over all our cares to You as they are too big and heavy for us to carry. Give us wisdom and direction. O God, lead us in the right direction; be a light unto our paths. Lord grant us according to Your riches in glory to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts though faith. May Your power be under us, in us, surging through us for an unforgettable experience of completeness in Christ Jesus.

Father, we declare with Paul, His great doxology, “ Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations for ever and ever.”  Yes, Lord, You are able above all things to do exceedingly beyond all things that we ask or think according to the power that works within us.  Our weakness is connected to Your omnipotence for our omniscient God is able!

Lord Jesus, we again make ourselves available to You, it is not I but Christ - we receive our ability to live a Christian life from the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit.  Your grace is sufficient for us, for Your power is perfected in our weaknesses.

Most gladly therefore, we will rather boast of our weakness, so that Your power may dwell in us. We are content with weakness, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ sake, for when we are weak, then You are strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

To God be the glory! Amen
