Lord Jesus, immeasurable is the fountain of forgiveness that
flows from the first drop of Your priceless shed blood. In the
midst of this world of pain and sorrow, You are worthy of
praise; a song of joy for the earth; a heavenly anthem sung
thorough the ages; Your love and virtue unequaled and
unchallenged. There is power in Your soul cleansing blood too
yet pay for one more sin that man is capable of committing.
You are the river that washes clear and spotless. There is
freedom of sin at the cross for yet the humble and poor in
spirit. There is abundant blessing’s, for the repentant and
the
obedient.
You are the Lily of the
Valley; the Rose of Sharon; the Prince of Peace; the Rock of
Ages. Lord, teach me to love You and to embrace You, despite
the fact that my arms once embraced lust and sin. You loved me
before I was formed in my mother’s womb; You loved me as Your
own when I was unworthy of that love.
Because of love, You came from
heaven to earth, from the earth to the cross, from the cross
to the grave. Your love is perfect, and it does not every go
away or decrease, despite my sinfulness. Your love conquers
all. Your love becomes a bridge as I open myself to You and
let You banish my fears and unbelief which blocks the flow of
Your power.
Lord, let me see Your love
everywhere I look, not only in Your cross, but in the company
of fellow believers and in the world around me. I will praise
You as I feel the warm sun shinning down upon my face; I will
praise You when the gentle rain falls and remember that You
are the source of all water of life.
Your love is a mystery of
mysteries and our eternal peace and happiness lies deep inside
that love. May I learn to relax in the embrace of Your
everlasting love, as Your love never fails.
