Colossians Chapters 1-3
Father, I come this
morning asking that we may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in
all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I pray that we may have a walk
worthy of You, fully pleasing You and being fruitful in every good work
increasing in the knowledge of You.
May we be strengthened
with all might, according to Your glorious power for all patience and
longsuffering with joy. We give thanks to You, Father for You have
qualified us to be partakers of Your inheritance through Jesus Christ. You
delivered us form the powers of darkness and translated us into the
kingdom of Your Son and His love in whom we have redemption of sins.
We thank You Father, that
Jesus through His shed blood at Calvary and through His death has made us
blameless and irreproachable in Your sight and we may now enter into Your
Throne room without fear of death! Hallelujah! We give You praise and
glory in this place today!
Thank You that Christ is
in us, the hope of all glory, its Him we preach, warning every man and
teaching every man in all wisdom that they may present every man perfect
in Christ Jesus.
Father, encourage this
class of extraordinary women, knit us together in love and give them full
assurance of understanding and knowledge of Your Word and Your will for
their lives. May we be rooted and built us in Christ Jesus and established
in the faith, as Your Word has taught us and may we abound in it with
thanksgiving for in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
and we are then complete in Him, who is our head. We thank You that we are
buried with Him through faith in the working of God the Father who raised
Him from the dead. We thank You that we have been made alive together with
Him, having forgiving our trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of
requirements that was against us –He took them and nailed them to the
Cross.
May this class of
extraordinary women set their minds on things above and not on things of
the earth for we died and our life is hidden with Christ in You. May we
continue to put off the old man and put on the new man who is renewed in
knowledge according to Christ Jesus who created us.
I pray that we put on
tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering bearing with
one another and forgiving one another even as Your Son forgave us.
May we put on love, which
is the bond of perfection and may we let Your peace rule in our hearts
–may the words of Christ dwell us richly in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in our hearts to our Lord.
I pray O God, that You
would open to us the door for the words to speak the mysteries of Christ
Jesus, and may we walk in wisdom toward those who are outside redeeming
time –being a witness of Your glory and grace –may our speech always be
with grace, seasoned with salt so we may know how we ought to answer any
question about the gospel.
May Your grace go with us
today and everyday in Jesus name I pray.
