The Prayers of David

"In times of trouble, may the Lord respond to your cry. May the God of Israel keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem.  . May he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. May he grant your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory flying banners to honor our God.  May the Lord answer all your prayers."     Psalm 20:P1-6

Oh God of Jacob Defend Me

O Lord God, crown my plans & purpose with success; may you fulfill all my petitions. I will boast in the name of the Lord, for it is better to trust in You than on worldly man. Just a glance from You and all my anxieties and fears will crumble and I will stand in the victor court! Anoint me, O God, so I may fulfill my destiny as I surrender to the Shepard of my soul. I totally surrender to Your Lordship asking that You change my heart for a praying heart-a heart like Yours, O God.

Grant me my hearts desire, O God, to step out of my kingdom into Your glorious kingdom -May I enter into Your gates with praise and into Your Throne Room with reverence and awe to see You in all Your glory. O let Your weighty Kabob fill this unworthy temple. Let me step into Your Word with new eyes-a new and powerful revelation and knowledge of Your Word, for revelation determines reality-revealed to me by destiny. I am hungry O God for a fresh revelation-O send Your Word and touch me and anoint me afresh-give me Your strength, O, Lord.

Give me the unquenchable joy, of Your presence and steadfast love to be poured into my heart. Smite me with hope and may I never recover, again, I say change my heart O God, to a heart like Yours. Just one Word, one touch from You, O Lord will change me forever. Let me experience You, O God. May Your hand be upon me for I have a hungry passion to touch You in my prayer time. May the hungry passion of my heart surrender to Your Lordship of eternity trigger Your heavenly response. You will then welcome me as your guest;  Your blessings shall overflow me. Hallelujah!

You, O Lord, are my provision, my guide, and my protection. You take good care of me as my Shepherd. I am Yours! Hallelujah! You give me rest in my times of trials and You lead me with Your written Word for my comfort. Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall overflow me, for eternity will be mine forever.

O, hold me as a shepherd holds the delicate young lambs in the field. Make Your voice more real to me than the voice of the enemy. You are the Lord of Host, the God of the armies of Israel, for my battles are Your battles and I will get the victory through Your strength. I commit myself to the King of kings to be owned, possessed by Royalty.

May I die to my desires, so I may see the glory of the Living God. Clothe me in Your heavenly armor, O God.

O Lord, make me a more excited, enthusiastic, exuberant, delighted and dynamic worshipper. I want to step out of rejection into revelation and out of depression unto delight of the one True God Jehovah.  Help me get the flesh out of the way so You can show up big time, O God I want to become God defined, God embraced, and God saturated.  May I have an open heart O God, so I may have a God visitation to transform a lost and dying world.

I want to be so hungry and thirsty for Your Word that the mouth of hell will close and the windows of heaven will open. May the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roar through me! May You give me a fresh revelation of Your-self in the light of eternity.  "Harken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; for unto Thee will I pray. My voice shall Thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee and will look up." Psalm 5:2-3

Father, I want to die to self, so I may be seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, the hope of Glory. I have written Your Name, Lord Jesus on the tablet of my heart, I want to lay my plans down at Your feet and embrace Your plan for my life. Let Your seed in my womb come alive to birth Your destiny in my life on earth. I want to be Your warrior, commissioned by You, the Lion of Judah -I want a broken heart and a contrite spirit, which You will not despise.
