Abba Father, cleanse the thoughts of my heart, by the
inspiration of Your Holy Spirit, that I may perfectly love
you and worthily magnify Your Holy Name through Jesus
Christ, Your Son my Lord.
Lord, help me to realize how brief my time on earth will
be. Help me to know that I am here but a moment more.
Teach me to number my days and recognize how few they are;
help me to spend them as I should in Your Word.
Lord, help me to live by the principles of love and
justice, always expecting much from You. Continue to do a
mighty work in me and help me to do Your will. I pray You
will produce in me all Your will through the power of
Christ Jesus all that is pleasing to You.
Father, I know I must learn that the purpose of my life
belongs to You, that You are using me from Your great
personal perspective and all You are asking of me is that
I trust You. If I put my trust in You, then You can crush
me, exalt me, or do anything You choose with my life, You
are the potter and I am the clay, mold me and make me in
Your image, Lord Jesus. I put my faith, absolute faith in
You and in Your goodness. Even when my cup is bitter, I
will praise You Lord, not just when my cup is sweet. I
realize I must go through the trials before I have the
rights to the verdict, because going through the trials is
how I learn to know You better. You are teaching me to
reach Your highest goals until Your purpose and my purpose
becomes one.
Lord, discipline me to see You in every detail, help me to
continue to grow spiritually so I may never believe that
so-called random events of life are anything less than
Your appointed order. Let me discover Your divine design
in my life anywhere and everywhere I go.
Father, I pray that I will display Your glory to live a
life “hidden with Christ in You,” in my every day human
conditions, to exhibit an ideal life worthy of You.
“Clap your hands,
all you peoples; shout to God with a loud song of joy!”
(Ps 41:1)
Father, I pray for the spirit of gladness and to be so
full of joy that it is always within me. I want joy to
bubble up within me to be apart of everything I do. I want
people that I see and interact with to hear the joy in my
voice and see the joy on my face. I know I can meet any
situation with a positive attitude; as joy is a Spirit of
gladness that lifts any burdens and makes any task more
enjoyable. I pray that the gift of joy, Your precious gift
be given to me. Thank You Lord, for unquenchable joy of
Your Spirit that indwells me!
