Be Thou O Lord a shield about me; be the One who lifts my head, I cry out to You and You answer me from Your holy mountain. You are the Lord God who sustains me, I will not fear. The Lord hears when I call to Him- O lift up the light of Your countenance upon me, O God. Hear my prayers.

You have put gladness in my heart, in peace I will both lie down and sleep for You alone, O Lord make me to dwell in safety.

O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness, make my way straight before me and  let me sing of joy as You shelter me under Your wings of protection.

It is You who blesses me and surrounds me with favor. I will be glad and exult in You and sing praise to Your name, O Most High. Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in Thee; wondrously show Thy loving-kindness to me; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.

I love Thee, O Lord, my Strength, You are my ROCK and my Fortress, my Stronghold and I call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. To Thee O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in Thee I trust. Make  me to know Thy ways O Lord, teach me Your paths and lead me in Your truths.

The Lord is my Light and my Salvation – You are my Defense, my heart will not fear for Thou art with me

O Lord, I trust in You alone. Don’t let Satan defeat me. Rescue me because You are God who always does what’s right. Answer quickly when I cry out to You, bend low and hear my whispered pleas.

You are my Rock and my fortress; I honor Your name as You lead me out of the path of the evil one and set me on the path of righteousness; into Your hand I commit my spirit.

I will meditate with joy because of Your mercy and love. You alone are God, my times are in Your hands. Let Your favor shine again upon Your servant (Susie), save me just because You are so kind. Oh how great is Your goodness, for You have stored up great blessings as I trust in You and reverence Your holy Name.

Hide me in the shelter of Your presence, safe beneath Your hands. Blessed is the Lord as You show me Your never failing love. Your eyes are intently watching over me and You give me Your attention when I cry out to You. Yes, the Lord hears me when I call and You save me out of my troubles. I praise You and glorify Your Holy Name.    Hallelujah! Amen
